How can the Gastag2T save you $$$?

There as millions of 2 stoke engines being used for thousands of different applications around the world.

• A common problem with all these engines is the risk of expensive damage if un-mixed gasoline is used. With correct use of the Gastag2T, it is possible to eliminate engine damage caused by use of incorrectly or unmixed gasoline. 
• It can also save you having to discard perfectly good gasoline when there is an unknown mix status. 

The Gastag2T has two primary functions:

1. A visual mix status indictor with security lock
2. A mix ratio calculator (metric and US Gallons)

In most cases, particularly with synthetic 2-stroke oils, it is almost impossible to visually detect whether oil has been added to gasoline. It is critical to have a simple and effective means of displaying the mix status of the gasoline as an additional means of preventing major engine damage.

This is useful for several reasons...

1. Where gasoline is stored for a period of time, it is easy to forget the mix status.
2. When using multiple gasoline containers, it is easy to confuse those that are mixed or unmixed.
3. Where multiple people handle gasoline, mix status may not be effectively communicated between handlers.

Security = Peace of mind 

The GasTag2T features a double security locking mix indictor that prevents inadvertant switching of the mix status through moving or knocking the device accidentally. 

Depressing the button while flexing the mix indicator lever slightly is required to shift from the unmixed to the mixed status or vice versa. The indicator is switched to green once 2-stroke oil has been added. When the container is refilled at the gas station, the switch is then reset back to the unmixed condition (red). It takes only a few second to operate.

How to use the Gastag2T

The GasTag2T is permanently attached to a gasoline supply container using either the cable tie (provided) or a Velcro or similar strap.  

When measuring the required amount of 2 stoke oil required for any particular engine specification, the mix wheel can be rotated to determine how much oil to add.  Mix ratios are provided in both liters and US gallons.
